In full swing

Halwyn is Cornwall’s new countryside destination — where golf, food, and fresh air come together just moments from the coast. Set across rolling farmland near Crantock, Halwyn combines a TrackMan-powered driving range, wood-fired dining barns, and a family-friendly mini golf course, offering a laid-back take on rural leisure.

When Hope Yard PR began working with Halwyn, the brief was clear: to put this brand-new venue on the map. As an entirely new concept for Cornwall, awareness was everything and the launch needed to capture both local excitement and lifestyle appeal.

To introduce Halwyn to the world, a curated launch event brought together over 20 of the South West’s leading influencers, from professional athletes and celebrities to family creators and lifestyle photographers. Guests were invited to experience the venue first-hand and enjoy the driving range with a side order of specialty cocktails and Halwyn’s signature sharing menu. The event generated wide social reach, strong local engagement, and a clear buzz around this new hang.

Building on that success, the next focus was the launch of Halwyn’s autumn menu - an elevated yet approachable showcase of seasonal Cornish produce including Sunday roast dinners. Hope Yard PR invited a mix of regional tastemakers including celebrated chefs to dine, share content, and help shape Halwyn’s reputation as one of Cornwall’s most exciting new food destinations.

The results have been immediate. Halwyn’s social channels have seen a sharp rise in engagement and followers, while influencer coverage has cemented its position as the South West’s most talked-about new opening.
